My name is Omaimah, and I am the founder of Fashion by O.

As a modest dresser born in Denmark with Egyptian roots and working as an engineer in a male-dominated, navy-blue world for over two decades, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to feel accepted for who you are, to be seen, and to be heard.

My choice to dress modestly reflects my faith – and it’s also my way of giving back. Embracing bold, confident fashion became my way of making a statement and asserting my presence.
Power dressing became my secret weapon. Vibrant, colorful suits and dazzling sequin tops helped me express my personality, capture attention, and take control of the room.

For me, fashion is more than just clothing – it’s a powerful form of self-expression. Never underestimate the impact your outfit can have on how others perceive you, and more importantly, how it makes you feel. Your style should reflect who YOU are and who you aspire to be. You wear the clothes; they don’t wear you.

When I feel down and want to lift my mood – and the mood of the entire office – I turn to sequins. For me, sequin garments are the ultimate source of joy. I love pairing them with denim, a crisp white shirt, or a cozy jumper and sneakers for a glam, laid-back look. It’s amazing how something as simple as a sequin piece can bring a little sparkle to your day and brighten the energy in the room.

My love for fashion began at age 13, when I dreamed of designing glamorous red-carpet gowns. While my journey didn’t take me directly into fashion, my passion never wavered. Today, my focus is on creating classic yet unique suits and dresses – timeless pieces that capture the essence of power dressing while honoring modesty.
For me, it’s all about celebrating confidence, sophistication, and individuality.
